Sycamore Harley-Davidson wins international award at Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary Festival in Budapest, Hungary




A long-standing town business has trumped more than 300 dealerships across Europe, Africa and the Middle East to win an industry award,

Rutland-based Sycamore Harley-Davidson won the Award for Service and Customer Satisfaction (2022) at the recent Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary Festival in Budapest, Hungary.

It is considered one the most important awards of the year within the American brand’s global dealerships and recognises the dealer with the highest overall score with the most surveys completed.

Andrew Winham, managing director of the Uppingham dealership, travelled to Hungary to receive the accolade from Harley-Davidson Motor Company vice-president Kolja Rebstock, and Harley-Davidson Inc chairman, president and CEO Jochen Zeitz.

“To win such a highly-prized award is unbelievable,” said Andrew.

“Not only has our Uppingham dealership been placed ahead of 31 UK and Ireland Harley dealers, but the whole dealer network within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.”

Sycamore Harley-Davidson opened as a family business more than 70 years ago and became a Harley dealership in 2003.

“We are all extremely passionate about Harley-Davidson motorcycles and products and this is clearly valued by our customers, who gave us the highest overall score with the most service and customer satisfaction surveys completed,” Andrew added.
