The Mason's Arms in Bourne to temporarily close

A pub has closed for the time being and owners are appealing for new landlords.

In a post on Facebook, staff at The Mason's Arms in Bourne told drinkers that the pub will be shut and the keys handed back to Star Pubs and Bars, the pub business of Heineken UK.

A spokesperson for Star Pubs and Bars said: "We are keen to reopen The Mason's Arms as quickly as possible and are looking to recruit a community focused operator with a good local knowledge to take on the pub either on a temporary or permanent basis."
