Travel agents expands with second branch in Uppingham

A Stamford-opened travel agents has started the new year with a bang by opening its second branch in Uppingham.

More than Travel has been running in St George’s Street, Stamford, for three years, and owner Helen Dooley said it was the right time for staff to stretch their wings into Rutland.

More than Travel opened at 29A High Street East in Uppingham, on Saturday, January 3.

Helen said: “Stamford and Rutland have such a wonderful customer base for us.

“People here value independent business and in return we can offer an unrivalled level of expertise and service.”

Discerning clients in Stamford have responded well to the business model; providing bespoke holiday and travel solutions to people that expect more than the ordinary.

Helen added: “For our clients, average is not good enough. They expect their travel arrangements to be seamless, their hotels to be better than home and all the details taken care of for them and that is exactly what we deliver.”

Helen puts the success of the business down to the four cornerstones that underpin everything they do: quality, value, service and choice, provided by a great team.

The business was started in 2010 by Helen and her husband Richard.

Helen has had many senior roles in the travel industry and both she and Richard love travelling themselves.

In 2012 they were joined by Lucy Holmes and last year by Helen Giddings.
