LMRT graphic design, from Keisby near Bourne, have teamed up with Carbon Footprint to donate saplings to schools

Staff at a graphic design business near Bourne are donating saplings to schools.

LMRT, based in Keisby, have joined forces with Carbon Footprint to plant the saplings.

As well as the saplings being donated to the schools, every tree planted in Lincolnshire will be duplicated in the Amazon rainforest as part of Carbon Footprint's project in Peru.

Maya nut trees will be planted to replace ones that have been chopped down.

Paul Tompsett, creative director of LMRT, said: “We are increasingly aware of the impact we all have on our environment and we are keen to make sure we do our bit to support our magnificent Lincolnshire countryside.

“There is no better way to do this than through the fantastic schools in our area.”

Paul added that as graphic designers who work in print, LMRT want to put something back into the eco system.
