Tribute to Uppingham School pupil William Glendinning who died in off-road buggy accident on farmland in Bishop's Stortford
The family of a teenager who died in an accident on farmland in Bishop’s Stortford have paid tribute to him.
William Glendinning, 18, suffered serious injuries when his off-road buggy overturned and died at the scene.
Police were called following an incident on farmland off St James Way, by Moor Hall Farm, on Friday September 23 at around 5.15pm.
Paying tribute to William, from Cheshire, his family said: “William was a much-loved son and brother who was studying at Uppingham School [in Rutland] where he was passionate about rugby, theatre and piano.
"He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.”
PC Dale Morris, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire road policing unit, said: “Our thoughts are with William’s family at this difficult time and our investigations are ongoing.”
