Plans for 22 new homes in Rutland village of Market Overton
Plans have been drawn up for 22 new homes to be built just off a village's main street.
The application for Market Overton has been submitted to Rutland County Council by agents Ross Thain Architects of Stamford.
The homes, if built, will be three and four-bedroom, two-storey houses and would be located next to The Limes, The Finches and Walker Close, off Main Street.
Rutland is the 31st best place to live.
The design proposal says that the properties will be built using local stone with natural blue slate or imitation Collyweston slate roofs, and will have four-pane sash windows. Alongside the homes, there would be spaces for 56 vehicles to be parked.
The application will be considered by Rutland County Council's planning committee.
