UPDATE: A1 lane open following two car crash

All lanes of the A1 are open following a two car crash earlier today (January 17).
AA Traffic News reported that the incident, which occurred at around 2.15pm, took place in the northbound lane between the A43 Kettering Road (Wothorpe/Easton On The Hill turn off) and A6121 Tinwell Road (Stamford/Tinwell turn off).
Emergency services were on the scene and traffic was reportedly slow in the area.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: "We were called at around 2.15pm to reports of a collision involving two vehicles.
"No injuries were reported but the incident caused heavy traffic in the area."
