Volunteers and bands needed for Rat Race Dirty Weekend

Volunteers are being sought to help at an extreme sports event.

About 8,000 people will take part in the 2015 Rat Race Dirty Weekend obstacle course, which takes place on May 9 at Burghley Park, near Stamford.

Rat Race is offering people from the local area a chance to be a part of the day by helping to supervise the 200 obstacles which will make up the epic 20-mile course.

To recognise their key role in the event, all the support crew will be rewarded with the choice of two benefit packages for taking part in the 2015 Rat Race: the Dirty Weekend Value Package, which includes: weekend premium camping, an after-party ticket and £30 worth food vouchers (among other goodies), or £100 credit to take part in any future Rat Race event.

Local bands are also invited to join in by performing in a line-up headlined by ASH and the Craig Charles Funk and Soul DJ Set.
