Walk and picnic at Riverford’s organic farm

Riverford at Sacrewell Farm is holding a series of farm walks throughout the summer holidays for all of the family to enjoy.

The events are being held between 5pm and 7.30pm on the last Wednesday of the month until September.

The next two walks will take place on August 26 and September 30.

A stroll around the farm will be followed by a Riverford picnic of delicious pies, soups and salads.

James Negus from Riverford explains: “Our lovely, organic farm is a hive of activity over the summer months, so there’s plenty to see, touch and taste.”

There won’t be any transport along the route so ticket holders are advised to wear wellies and to bring an extra layer for when it gets chilly.
