Yellow weather warning issued as Storm Éowyn forecast to bring strong winds to Lincolnshire and Rutland




A yellow weather warning has been issued as strong winds are predicted to batter the area.

The Met Office is warning that Storm Éowyn is expected to bring very strong winds and some disruption to Lincolnshire and Rutland on Friday (January 25).

The winds, caused by low pressure, may lead to disruption including damage to buildings, power cuts and flying debris which could threaten lives.

Transport services are likely to be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible, and some roads and bridges may close.
