  • SKAMP (South Kesteven Acting and Musical Players) stage ‘Allo ‘Allo! at 7.30pm at Bourne Corn Exchange, based on the comedy TV series. Tickets cost £8.50 to £10 from www.ticketsource.co.uk/skamp

  • Willoughby Memorial Trust Gallery in Corby Glen hosts two exhibitions - Paintings by Graham Timbrell and Motif Immersions, digital collage and acrylic paint, by Michael Brown. Open midday to 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Admission free. Until May 11.

  • Blossom Brunch - 10.30am to 1pm at Stamford Community Orchard (at the far end of Christ Church Close, between Holland Road and Kesteven Road).
  • Rocks By Rail open day - Take a trip on The Rutlander train plus Diesel Driver for a Fiver (lunchtime hour only). Call: 07873 721 941 or visit www.rocks-by-rail.org
  • Uffington Scarecrow Festival, from 11am to 4pm. Parking Greatford Road, PE9 4SY. Scarecrow trail and quiz with a theme of ‘discoveries and inventions’, as well as classic cars and motorbikes, flypast, farm machinery, alpacas, caricaturist, dog show, crafts and cakes, traditional games, plant sale, tombola, model railway, train rides, barbecue, refreshments, face painting and bouncy castle. £5 per car, including a quiz. £2.50 without a car.
  • Stamford Pottery Market – Stamford Arts Centre, 10am to 4pm free admission. 25 local potters will display, chat about and sell their work. There will be a raffle of pottery items in aid of Stamford MindSpace.
  • Deepings Literary Festival - Vaseem Khan Oddfellows Hall at 11am, Francis Pryor West Deeping Village Hall at 2.30pm

Tuesday, May 3

Wednesday, May 4

  • Afternoon tea, chat and activities - 2pm to 4pm, United Reformed Church Hall, Broad Street, Stamford.
  • Concert for Ukraine by Corby Male Voice Choir and friends at All Saints’ Church in Oakham at 7.30pm. Tickets £10 each at Colemans and Oakham Wines in High Street. All proceeds to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
  • Sam Sweeney, Stamford Arts Centre ballroom, 7.30pm. Sam is a veteran of Bellowhead, former artistic director of the National Folk Youth Ensemble, founder member of the instrumental trio Leveret, and an instrumentalist at the forefront of the revival in English traditional music.
