Wistow Maze - Wistow, LE8 0QF. 10am to 6pm. Giant eight acre maize maze in shape of Queen’s crown to mark the jubilee. Viva Verse and Vino - 7.30pm (doors 6.45pm) The Shambles, Old Town Hall Bourne. Come and listen to amazing literary creations and enjoy a glass or two of your favourite tipple in our lovely venue. Stamford Horticultural Society summer show - 2pm, United Reform Church Hall on Broad Street, Stamford. There will be various exhibits including flowers, vegetables, floral art and photography. The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny, 5.30pm, Lyveden. Quantum Theatre present Michael Whitmore’s adaptation of this classic story for all the family. Bring a blanket and a picnic. Teas - 2.30pm - 5pm, King’s Cliffe Village Hall. Scones with clotted cream and jam and a selection of homemade cakes, cheese scones and other bakes to enjoy while you relax over a pot of freshly-brewed tea or coffee. Search our book corner for a good read and be tempted by our homemade preserves on sale. We can now take card payments, though cash is still very welcome. To reach the Village Hall by car, go down Orchard Lane from the west end of West Street and turn left onto Church Walk. There is parking outside the lower entrance to the Village Hall and a stairlift should you need it. Eagle Lane footpath from beside the Londis shop in West Street leads to the upper Village Hall entrance.
