Bourne woman disturbs intruder during garage break-in

A thief got away empty-handed after being disturbed during a garage break-in.

The owner was woken by a loud bang at 3.30am on Wednesday morning last week in Newbury Crescent, Bourne.

She got up and switched on all the house lights which is thought to have scared off the intruder.

The garage door was broken but nothing was missing.

Witnesses can contact police on 101 quoting incident 226 of November 13.
