Barnack man ghostwrites new book by YouTube sensations Woody and Kleiny called The Social Struggle: How We Took Over the Internet
YouTube stars, Woody and Kleiny, have released their new book, The Social Struggle: How We Took Over The Internet - ghostwritten by a Barnack man.
With more than 10 million followers across their social media channels, Woody and Kleiny have established themselves as two of the world's foremost internet content creators.
The book, which was ghostwritten by Seth Burkett, shares the story of the duo's initial failure that - after much determination - turned to success.
It touches upon overcoming broken homes and dreams, filming blurry videos for less than 100 viewers and working every hour of the day to make a handful of loose change.
The book hopes to inspire readers around the world to persevere and follow their own aspiration's.
Seth, who lives in Barnack, said: "I was so inspired by Woody and Kleiny I quit my job to become a full-time writer."
The process of writing the book included Seth having the pair speak into a dictaphone before writing it up and re-arranging the sentences to ensure they make sense and flow well.
Seth, 28, said: "I do prefer ghost writing, I like to learn about people's stories and experiences that I don't have."
Woody and Kleiny held their book launch on Friday November 8 which saw over 300 people attend.
A school tour which Seth will be participating in will also help to promote the book.
Since publishing the book, the YouTube duo have put Seth in contact with other big social media names to help them write their books.
Seth, 28, said: "I'm really excited, I've got a few projects I'm working on which will hopefully push me further."
The book, which was published on November 4, is now stocked at a variety of retailers including Amazon, Waterstones and Walkers bookshop in Stamford.
