Football matches are postponed due to the wet weather

The wet weather has washed out a number of Saturday's football fixtures.

Spalding United's home match with Rugby Town in the Northern Premier League was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Pinchbeck’s United Counties League Premier Division North match at Heanor was called off along with the Division One games involving Bourne Town (at West Bridgford), Blackstones (at Birstall United) and Harrowby (at Gedling) along with Holbeach United's match with Great Yarmouth in the Thurlow Nunn League.

Boston Town's FA Vase tie at Worcester City also fell foul of the wet weather and will now be played this coming Saturday (December 16).

The big match in the Lincolnshire League between Lincoln Moorlands and Wyberton was also postponed.

Stamford’s home match with Halesowen in the Southern League Premier Division Central Division is still going ahead as is Grantham’s game with Stockton at the South Kesteven Stadium.
