Late goals secure comeback win for Rangers
Deeping Rangers kicked off 2015 with a 3-1 victory over Harrowby United at the Haydon Whitham last night (Tuesday).
Two late goals gave Rangers the victory after coming from behind.
Harrowby took an early lead through debutant Conor Moore after just three minutes.
And it took Deeping until first half injury time to get on level terms when Spencer Tinkler found the back of the net from the penalty spot.
After the break both sides lost a player to a red card, Deeping’s Adam Scotcher and Arrows defender Jack Whyley were both given their matching orders.
But Deeping reacted the better to being down to 10 men and fix minutes from time Tom Palmer popped up with a win for Rangers before Jordan Avis put some gloss on the result a minute from the end with a third.
Deeping are now 10th in the UCL Premier and travel to Long Buckby on Saturday.
