Deeping Rangers host ON Chenecks in United Counties League Premier Division
Deeping Rangers are looking to repeat their earlier response to United Counties League losses when they host ON Chenecks in a Premier Division clash on Saturday.
The Clarets are targeting an immediate return to winning ways at the Haydon Whitham Stadium after a 5-0 defeat at Lutterworth Town last weekend.
After a previous 5-0 loss against Rugby Town earlier in the campaign, Rangers hit back with four successive victories which co-boss Lee Clarke is looking to repeat again.
He said: "I think we just want to chalk last weekend off and draw a line under it.
"We’ve now got this game against Chenecks and it's time to put that result from the weekend right.
"After the heavy defeat against Rugby we were all feeling a bit down, but we didn't have the same feeling from the result at the weekend.
"It’s more a feeling of ‘Okay, now we’ve got to put this right’ and I’m sure we will if we prepare ourselves in the right way.
"I think we all remain in positive spirits and I'm certain with those who we have got available to us on Saturday we'll get something out the game."
Deeping are expected to be without injured striker Ta'i Williams and Mason Rhiney, but both Jake Sansby and David Burton-Jones are expected to return after missing the Lutterworth match.
