Coronavirus outbreak forces Stamford AFC to postpone Northern Premier League matches against Loughborough Dynamo and Wisbech Town
Stamford have been forced to postpone their next two Northern Premier League games after some members of their playing squad and management team tested positive for Covid-19.
The Daniels have called off the scheduled South East Division games against Loughborough Dynamo on Boxing Day and the New Year's Day trip to Wisbech Town.
A club statement said: "Following on from the Northern Premier League's announcement on Saturday that games up to January 2 are optional, unfortunately - due to some of the playing squad and management testing positive for Covid-19 - we are not able to fulfil these fixtures.
"We apologise to Loughborough and Wisbech for not being able to complete these fixtures at this time."
