Stamford Town Cricket Club is staging a Super Sevens event

Stamford Cricket Club will be staging their Super Sevens event next week.

The Over 40s competition has group matches getting underway each night at the Uffington Road.

Each winner of the three-team group will progress to the finals night next Friday evening.

The club are running a small beer festival alongside the event with a barbecue each night while One Touch Football are bringing down their big inflatable football dart board.

The draw for the week as follows: Monday - Sewells Savages, Ketton Casuals, Uffington B; Tuesday - Barnack, Ufford Park, Grainstore; Wednesday - Stamford, Uffington A, Hoyles Hitters; Thursday - Oakham, Rammy's Raiders, Burghley Park; Friday - Semi-finals and final.
