Round-up of Saturday's action as Stamford AFC claim FA Trophy scalp by sinking Stourbridge

Stamford produced a stunning performance to claim a higher level scalp in Saturday's FA Trophy tie at Stourbridge.

The Daniels defeated their Southern League Premier Division Central hosts 3-0 in the third qualifying round clash after a top drawer display from Graham Drury's side.

Top scorer Tom Siddons got the Daniels off to a dream start by giving the Northern Premier League South East Division side a seventh minute lead.

That advantage was then doubled 11 minutes before half-time when Tendai Chitiza converted following Cosmos Matwasa's pass.

Stamford continued to look the more threatening side after the break and the hosts' woes were further compounded with eight minutes remaining when Brad Birch was dismissed after collecting a second caution.

The Daniels then rubbed further salt in Stourbridge's wounds in the final minute when Rob Morgan scored from the penalty spot.

Deeping Rangers, Bourne Town and Blackstones were all without a game in the United Counties League.

Cottesmore dropped their first points of the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division campaign after a 2-2 away draw at FC Khalsa.

Harry Sabberton and Tom Atkins were on target for the table-topping Rutland side who are now four points clear of second-placed Sileby Town.
