Peterborough firefighters attend blaze at building in Upton




Firefighters were called to a village after an outbuilding caught fire.

An emergency call was made at 8.37pm last night (Wednesday, February 21) reporting a building fire in Main Road, Upton.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters from Dogsthorpe and Stanground used hose reels to extinguish the blaze before returning to their stations by 10.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
