Prince George could attend Oundle School

Prince George might attend secondary school in Oundle, according to reports in the national news.

It had been thought that the 10-year-old, who is second in line to the throne, would attend his mother’s former school, Marlborough College in Wiltshire.

But The Mail Online has reported the Prince and Princess of Wales are also considering Oundle School.

According to ‘a source’, Prince George’s parents are concerned about sending their children to a school that is ‘too flashy’. Oundle School does not tolerate arrogance, according to its vision.

Oundle School’s website says: “We wish to support the intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional and social growth of our pupils, so that they may become happy, balanced contributors to society.”

It adds: “We encourage aspiration and abhor arrogance, nurturing open minds, authentic self-belief and a sense of service.”

Places for boys and girls at Oundle School cost from £22,000 a year.
