Opening date announced for new Odeon cinema in Peterborough’s Queensgate Shopping Centre

The opening date for a cinema has been announced, offering film buffs in the county a new nearby film venue.

It is understood the new Odeon cinema in the Queensgate Shopping Centre, in Peterborough, will open on Sunday, November 17.

The new eight-screen luxe cinema will be the first of its kind in Cambridgeshire, creating 40 new jobs.

The new site will also provide another cinema destination for residents in Stamford and Spalding.
