The show has been adapted from the Daniel Wallace novel and Tim Burton film, Big Fish, which follows Edward Bloom’s tales and adventures.

During the plot, characters of the musical enjoyed Edward’s captivating storytelling apart from his son Will, who finds himself desperate to figure out who his father really is but his tales seem to stop this.

Audience members can enjoy watching as two casts of young performers from the area perform the musical alongside a thirteen – piece orchestra who will be bringing the tale to life.

Director Karl Gernert said: “After The Sound Of Music, we wanted to challenge our students with something less well known.

“Although the songs are brilliant, the real beauty of this show is the storytelling. It will resonate with children, parents and anyone who has ever used their imagination."

All of the performances will start from 7.30pm. There will be a relaxed performance being held from 2.30pm on Saturday, September 23.

Tickets for the event will cost £12 for full price, £10 for concessions and £9 for groups of 10 and more.
