Wet Wet Wet's Marti Pellow brings Pellow Talk to New Theatre Royal, Lincoln
Former Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow is inviting his fans to an intimate evening of Pellow talk.
The Scottish singer is at the New Theatre Royal, Lincoln, on Sunday (October 30) with stories and songs from his long career, in the charts and on stage.
“Pellow Talk is a chance to learn all about me, not just as a singer and songwriter with Wet Wet Wet, but as a boy and a man,” said Marti.
It’s a chance to understand the DNA of the hits that we’ve listened to and loved over the years. The evening will be wrapped in music, from songs you know to ones you’ll get to know.
“There’ll be laughter as we travel from the banks of the River Clyde to the top of the charts, then on to Broadway and beyond.
“There will be no mask and no character. This is me, Marti, stepping out of the shadows, speaking directly to you.”
During his time with Wet Wet Wet, Marti enjoyed a string of chart success in the late Eighties and early Nineties with songs such as Angel Eyes, Sweet Little Mystery, A Little Help From My Friends and long-running number one Love Is All Around.
Since leaving the band, he has featured in stage musicals and pursued a solo career.
