Springfields Events Centre will be bringing an exciting Model Railway Exhibition this weekend

Spalding Model Railway Club will be holding its special exhibition at Springfields Events Centre this weekend.

It is set to return on Saturday, November 5 from 10am until 5pm and Sunday, November 6, from 10am to 4.30pm.

Advanced ticket holders, wheelchair users and disabled visitors can get in from 9.30am.

Ticket prices are £10 and accompanied under 16s can get in for free.

This year’s exhibition will feature 30 different layouts built by individuals or groups located all over the country.

All of the models would have taken many hundreds, if not thousands, of hours to create and are based on different eras ranging from steam, diesel and electric.

Supporting the layouts will be a number of demonstrations, showing how buildings and rolling stock can be constructed.

Visitors can also enjoy some of the best model railway retailers and parts suppliers will be there.

Visitors will be able to get free parking.

Future exhibition dates are already in the diary - booked for November 4 and 5 2023.
