Spalding abstract artist Joey Lowe on his new exhibition at the Geest Gallery
A Spalding-based artist has opened an exhibition of his own abstract work at the town's Geest Gallery.
Based in Ayscoughfee Hall Museum, in Churchgate, Joey Lowe's work can now be seen in the gallery. It's free to visit from Wednesdays until Sundays from 10.30am to 4pm until March 28.
Joey said: "I'm hoping to attract alternative artists and individuals who can create with me in the future."
The exhibition follows a mini tour of his art in the town last October. His latest exhibition is called '100% Juice - no Seeds.'
Joey explained previously why he was inspired to launch his own exhibition. He said: "There is a huge art scene (in South Holland) but it is limited to watercolours, crochet and that sort of art. As much as they are great and the people who do them are very talented, I could not find anywhere for abstract art." Follow Joey on Instagram at: joe.y_art
