Barry Steele and Friends return to New Theatre Royal, Lincoln, with The Roy Orbison Story
The music of Roy Orbison takes centre stage at the New Theatre Royal, Lincoln, tomorrow (Friday) with the visit of Barry Steele.
Along with his cast of musicians and singers, he returns to the venue for the first time since 2016 with The Roy Orbison Story.
They will take the audience on a musical journey from The Black and White Night right through to the Traveling Wilburys and beyond, promising an evening jam-packed with solid gold hits.
These include hits such as Crying, Only The Lonely, In Dreams and Oh, Pretty Woman.
Chris Isaak collected many awards on behalf of The Orbison Family – he also recorded many of Roy Orbison’s songs – in Barry Steele and Friends, the compliment is returned with versions of global smash hits Blue Hotel and Wicked Game.
Thanks to the wonders of technology, Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly shared the stage in the Hologram tour and there will also be tribute to Holly during the Lincoln show.
