Lincolnshire Show will return in 2021 - after the 2020 show is cancelled

The county's huge Lincolnshire Show has been rescheduled to 2021 due to the coronavirus.

In its 150-year history, the much-loved annual event, organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, has only had to be cancelled a handful of times. That was during world wars and because of the foot and mouth outbreak in 2001.

But with the COVID-19 pandemic ongoing, organisers made the decision at the end of last month to cancel this summer's event, which was due to be held at the Lincolnshire Showground, near Lincoln.

The Lincolnshire Show attracts thousands of visitors to the annual event.
