The Church of the Ascension in Grantham set to host Christmas fayre, with Santa Claus set to visit
A popular Christmas fayre is set to return to a Grantham church.
The Church of the Ascension in Edinburgh Road is kicking off its various Christmas events with a Christmas Fayre on Saturday November 18 from 1pm.
There will be a variety of stalls and raffle prizes including £50 cash and a family day pass to Belton House and gardens.
Entry to the event is free, and there will be festive refreshments and a tombola.
Father Christmas is also set to make the perilous journey from the frozen north and will have a grotto at the event, with entry £1 per child
The Vicar at Harrowby’s Church of the Ascension, Rev. Samantha Parsons said “After the roaring success of last year’s fayre, I’m excited to be holding it again this year – what a marvellous opportunity to share the fun and festivities with our local community.”
Children can try their hands at roll-a-ball, chocolate chopsticks or dropping the coin on Rudolph’s nose.
Rev Sam added: “ As well as entry to the Fayre being free, everything inside is great value as we understand how financially challenging these times are for people.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to visit Santa and enjoy the festive season without spending huge amounts of money!”
The raffle will be drawn at 3.30pm.
