Hamlet to be performed at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre

The production, by the University of Lincoln’s drama department, is staged on Tuesday (January 17) evening.

It features new characters, moments of physical theatre, and humour.

A spokesman said: “We hope to create a new and engaging adaptation of Hamlet, which incorporates multiple aspects of theatre, to create interest within and relate to a 20th Century audience.

“Additionally, we want to support different individuals in understanding the famous tragedy, including those in education who are studying Shakespeare’s work.”

Tickets cost £5 from the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre website and box office.
