Cottesmore Military Wives Choir to perform in support of Rutland and Melton Cancer Support Group

The Cottesmore Military Wives Choir will perform at an event in Oakham’s Victoria Hall on Friday, April 24 in aid of the Rutland and Melton Cancer Support Group.

Tickets are £5 and can be bought from Melton’s Icon Music store in King Street.

Doors open at 7pm allowing people to buy raffle tickets and drinks before the choir’s performance at 7.30pm.

The cancer support group was set up in 2000 by Oakham woman Carol Morton who, after her treatment for ovarian cancer, wanted to offer a place of support for cancer sufferers and their families. For more about the group call (01572) 722311 or email marjorieaylward@tiscali.co.uk
