RAF Cranwell Military Wives Choir and Band of the Royal Air Force College perform at Newark Palace Theatre




An evening of military musical excellence will support veterans. An Evening with Cranwell promises a night of spectacular music as the Band of the Royal Air Force College and the Military Wives Choir based at RAF Cranwell perform at the Palace Theatre, Newark, on Friday.

The concert will raise money for The Newark Patriotic Fund, which provides support for veterans and their families in the Newark area.

Also gracing the Palace stage this weekend is Adam Frost.

The award-winning garden designer and Gardeners’ World presenter will shares advice and amusing stories from a lifetime in the garden on Saturday (November 5).

Best known for his successes at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Adam will explore how his love for the great outdoors started from a young age when he helped on his grandparent’s allotment.

His fascination with watching plants and vegetables grow, and the wildlife it attracted, has stayed with him ever since.

Sharing tales from working with Geoff Hamilton at Barnsdale Gardens, to going solo in 1996 for the rollercoaster ride of designing multiple award-winning show gardens, Adam will also detail why he remains passionate about inspiring adults and children alike to start their own horticultural journeys.

Turin Brakes will be at the theatre on Thursday, November 10, performing tracks from their ninth studio album.
