Crowland Show 2019: These are the main attractions to expect at the event on the town's Snowden Field
This Saturday (June 29) it’s the Crowland Show - with a brand new look.
Opening the event will be the Spalding Marching Ambassadors, who will march from Trinity Bridge at 9.45am to the Snowden Field showground via South Street.
The Party in the Park all day music event, which was a huge success last year, now becomes part of the actual show rather than a separate event.
And replacing the traditional horse show, will be a pretend, fun pantomime horse race called the Crowland Gold Cup. There's also the dog show, where entries are welcome on the day until noon for just £2.
Plus, look out for vintage cars and motorcycles, and farm vehicles.
Besides all that is a 1940s Home Front and Vintage Show area with entertainment from acts ‘The ‘40s Home Front’ and the ‘Blighty Belles’ and stalls.
General admission to the show is from 9am. The price is £4 for adults, or £2 for children under 16yrs. A family ticket is £10 (two adults and two children under 12yrs). Concessions (over 60s) is £2.
For Party in the Park, wristbands will be available to buy on the day so people can come and go as they please.
