Stamford Indoor Bowls Club Open Day - 10am to 4pm at the clubhouse off Exeter Gardens. Free. All ages welcome, no experience or equipment needed. Refreshments available.

The Adult Panto: Cinderella and her Naughty Buttons! - 7.30pm, Stamford Corn Exchange. The Market Theatre Company are out to corrupt another fairytale classic beyond recognition with an evening of corny jokes, raunchy plots and blatant sexual innuendo using a minimum of set props and costume. Stamford Record Fair - United Reformed Church Hall, 29 Broad Street, 9am to 3pm. The first fair of 2023! Stamford Ramblers walk - 10am, from Wakerley Great Wood. A nine mile walk following the road into Wakerley village to pick up the Rutland Round to Duddington via the hamlet of Tixover, before crossing to Fineshade Woods before heading back into Wakerley Great Wood and the car park. The Rutland Group of Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust - 7.30pm, Volunteer Training Centre, Hambleton Road, Oakham. Anhony and Linda Biddle describe their recent visit to the Brazilian Pantanal, including the wildlife of the area and their search for the elusive jaguar.

Tuesday, January 17

West Deeping Heritage - 2pm for 2.30pm. A cruise on the Cut: Derek Harris at West Deeping Village Hall. Derek Harris looks at the architecture and engineering of the British canal system. Add to this some songs about bridges, locks, aqueducts, canal engineers (with audience participation) and it becomes a show that is both informative and entertaining. £3 at the door - everyone welcome and refreshments included.
