Our university students
Among our many success stories, Paul Woolmer excelled in his studies. He was chosen as the student orator at the graduation service where he gave his speech in British Sign Language, which highlighted how anyone can achieve their dreams with enough determination, hard work and support.
Paul Woolmer, a Level 5 Education in Practice student at Grantham College, had the amazing opportunity provided by Bishop Grosseteste University to travel to Thailand for a 28-day field trip, exploring their SEND schools.
Prior to his departure, he said, "The hands-on experience I gained through my course has been invaluable. I am really looking forward to this trip. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!”
