Architects, Blondie and Johnny Marr to play Nottingham Motorpoint Arena
Two top bands will be performing at Nottingham Motorpoint Arena next week following the rescheduling of tour dates
Metalcore band Architects will be at the arena on Tuesday (May 3) when they will play songs from their UK number one album, For Those That Wish To Exist among other tracks.
Architects is made up by vocalist Sam Carter, drummer Dan Searle, bassist Ali Dean and guitarists Josh Middleton and Adam Christianson.
One of the most influential bands to emerge from the 1970s New York punk scene, Blondie, will be performing at the arena on Thursday (May 5).
They will be joined by special guest Johnny Marr, who has been added to the line-up in place of Garbage, who couldn’t be part of the reschulded tour because of scheduling conflicts.
Band frontwoman and songwriter Debbie Harry said: “Having collaborated with Johnny on the last album, Pollinator, and with plans for a new collaboration on our next album, we are looking forward to a long overdue return to the UK, and even better, to sharing the stage with the inspirational musical influence that is Johnny Marr.”
