Egg-cellent Easter hunt in Grantham park
An Easter egg hunt in Wyndham Park on Saturday raised £146 for park funds.
There were 87 entries for the children’s event. The proceeds will go towards park improvements and future events.
Elizabeth Bowskill, secretary of the Wyndham Park Forum said: “Despite a miserable drizzly start to Saturday, we had to start the Easter egg hunt early as there was a queue at 10am – and then the sun came out. It was great to see so many people enjoying the fresh air, and the children, as always running round to find all the clues as quickly as they could. So a big thank you to everyone who took part.”
There will be further opportunities to join in family fun activities over the summer. You can check the café for notices, or the Wyndham Park website for details at www.wyndhamparkgrantham.org.uk.
