A feast for all tastes in Long Sutton
Friday evening (August 24) marks the first ever Long Sutton Feast, bringing artisan street food straight to hungry visitors.
The event runs from 6-9pm in Winfrey Park car park and organisers want the evening to provide a relaxed environment for the community to eat and drink together.
Hopes for the event are high, with plans to roll the idea out to other areas, such as Holbeach, should it prove a success.
The evening will include a wide variety of street food traders peddling their wares, such as the 3 Witches Catering Company, which provides vegan and vegetarian food at Spalding market on a Tuesday, and the Three Counties Deli from Long Sutton.
There’ll also be Norfolk gin bar Whatahoot and Desserts R Us, a mobile dessert company from Peterborough.
Organisers have expressed their gratitude to district councillor Jack Tyrell and Long Sutton Parish Council for their backing of the event.
The Boston Ukulele Group (BUGs) will be there too, to provide the music.
