Get the chance to meet some sci-fi spectaculars such as Doctor Who, Star Wars and Harry Potter this weekend

If you are interested in getting up close and meeting some sci-fi spectaculars such as Doctor Who, Star Wars and Harry Potter, why not give this new event a go.

Comicon will be taking place at the Curlew Centre in Sutt on Bridge on Saturday, October 14 between 10am and 4pm.

Due to the popularity and positive reaction to the upcoming event, organisers have added a second venue. This will be in the Constitutional Club, across from the Curlew Centre.

The different activities and traders will be split across both sites to make sure everyone will get a chance to experience the thrilling atmosphere.

Visitors can enjoy meeting different superheroes, sci-fi and Anime characters, as well as many cosplay guests.

Some of the confirmed guests include, Clem So who has starred in Star Wars, Dr Strange, 007 No Time To Die, Martin Ballantyne who starred in the Dark Knight, Obi Wan Kenobi and Pirates of the Caribbean – and many more.

Everyone who attends on the day will get the chance to receive autographs, pose for pictures with some of the big screen stars and check out some exciting memorabilia.

The wide range of traders will be selling items such as Funko Pops, Neca figures, movie prop replicas, comic books and graphic novels, sweets, retro and current video games, custom jewellery, Anime figures and more.

There will also be prop vehicles, a pizza truck, slushy stand, crepe van, table-top games, photo props as well as various competitions and prizes to be won throughout the day.

Tattooist Connor Ryan will be on hand to ink superfans on the day.

All of the proceeds made on the day will go towards supporting Help For Heroes and the Children’s Heart Charity in Lincolnshire.
