French comedian and raconteur Marcel Lucont tops the bill at the next Funhouse Comedy Club in Grantham
A comedy club will be back in town with lots of dry wit and one-liners.
Funhouse Comedy Club is set to return to the Guildhall Arts Centre Ballroom in Grantham on Thursday October 26.
Topping the bill is UK-based, French comedian and raconteur Marcel Lucont who has appeared on ‘The John Bishop Show’ and ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’.
Praised for his dry wit, bawdy chanson and exquisite poetry, Marcel’s deadpan delivery and surreal musings are billed as “both inspirational and intriguing”.
Opening the night will be the unique Stephen Grant. A TV and radio presenter or guest, as well as a talented writer, he still finds time for stand-up.
He is known for his anecdotal material, speed and dynamism to create a magical energy.
Also appearing is Nelson Gombakomba a wonderfully charming African comic, who shares his stories of living in Norfolk.
Completing the line-up will be actor, writer and stand-up comedian Annabel Edwards with her great one liners and turns of phrase.
Compere for the night is the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
The doors open at 7.15pm for an 8.00pm start.
