She is at the Royal Concert Hall on Wednesday.

This year is extra special as she is celebrating 30 years in the music industry.

She has marked the milestone with the release of an album, 30: Happy Returns.

For her festive concert, Kate will be performing from her five Christmas albums.

A Kate Rusby Christmas Concert perpetuates the tradition of Yorkshire carols, specific carols still sung in the pubs of South Yorkshire.

Her happiness, humour and storytelling are a feature of Kate’s live shows branding herself as a Holly Head — someone who loves Christmas.

Joining her on stage for this evening of Christmas cheer will be, as ever, her hugely talented and intuitive band of musicians, including producer and husband Damien O’Kane, as well as a top-flight brass quintet known as The Brass Boys.

A folk singer at heart, she’s taken the genre to new heights, headlining in the UK and internationally, performing with other big names in music across genres. She has a number of TV, radio and film credits to her name.
