Hereward the Wake will return to Crowland for a special celebration

Celebrate the fens’ weekend is back with a line up of different activities taking place across our district.

This annual celebration was created by Fascinating Fens.

Crowland Abbey will be getting involved on Saturday as Hereward the Wake will return.

There will be guided tours taking place around the historic building as well as adventures up to the top of the tower to admire the views and see the bell and clock work.

The organisations involved include Cambridgeshire Geological Society, Chatteris Little Acre Pocket Park, Crowland Abbey, Spalding Gentlemen’s Society Museum and so many more.
