Surfleet church set to host community flower festival
Get in line for a bloomin’ lovely selection of flowers, bound to put a smile on your face.
The St Laurence Church in Surfleet started its Flower Festival on Saturday, April 22 and it will be running until Monday, May 1. Visitors can enjoy homemade cakes and marmalade as well as the plant stalls, crafts, fresh flowers and a tombola from 10am to 5pm.
The cafe will serve a variety of hot drinks, cakes, pastries and hot or cold meals from 10am to 4pm. It is free to attend and everyone is welcome.
This event is part of a range of floral festivals taking place across the district.
