Comedians Jon Pearson, Peter Brush, Sol Bernstein and the Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue to perform at comedy gig in Wyberton




Four well-known faces from the comedy circuit will be providing the laughs at an upcoming gig.

Multi-award winner Jon Pearson, The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue, Sol Bernstein and Peter Brush will be appearing at Wyberton’s Jakemans Community Stadium on Friday, March 8.

Circuit regular Pearson has appeared at well-known venues such as The Glee, The Boat Show, Up The Creek, Last Laugh and Laughterhouse as well as performing overseas.

He has also supported Darren Harriot and Lucy Porter on tour.

With their box of props, Raymond and Mr Timpkins will offer some slapstick relief with their ever-popular show, which promises a loveable soundtrack.

Sol Bernstein, dubbed the world’s oldest living Jewish comedian, claims to be back where he belongs following 25 years of semi-retirement.

He will get the giggles with his classic delivery and quickfire gags.

Completing the quartet of acts is Peter Brush, a former BBC New Comedy Award finalist who has written for several BBC Radio 4 shows and has supported Alexei Sayle, Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Fern Brady, Arthur Smith and Paul Sinha.

Tickets for the show, a fundraiser for the Boston United Supporters Association, cost £14 (£16 on the door and are available at the Ellenders Bar at the stadium and by visiting www.comedyhotspot.co.uk.

The evening is rated 18+ and begins at 8pm.
