Popular act play at Valentine's dance in Sutton St Edmund in aid of village hall

Sutton St Edmund Village Hall is hosting a Valentine’s dance this Saturday (February 9) with returning stars ‘Back Two’, writes Patrick Walsh.

The duo consists of award-winning vocalist Sally Rose and talented pianist Paul Hayward, playing music that is certain to get you moving.

That includes a selection of dance and upbeat renditions of music for all from the 40s through to the 80s to modern, with their own ‘zany slant’.

The duo played at last year’s successful 1940s tea dance, which was held at the hall to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.

Hot refreshments will be available at the Valentine’s dance but bring your own nibbles.

This event will help raise money for repairs to the village hall.

It starts at 7.30pm and runs until 11pm. Tickets are available on the door at £6 per person, with under 7s going free. For more information call: 07498 057757.
