Popular Baston car show is set to thrill visitors

Grimsthorpe Castle will be alive with the sounds and sights of a wide variety of vehicles this weekend.

The Baston Car & Bike Show will be taking place on Saturday, July 3 at the magnificent castle.

There will be so much to see on the day with hundreds of vehicles on display, trade stands, food, live music and even a jet powered VW bus named ‘Oklahoma Willy’.

The show will also celebrate the 70th Anniversary of British Racing Motors with a stunning display of more than eight F1 single seat racing vehicles.

This year, owners of special and interesting vehicles are invited to make use of Pole Position Parking.

More than 350 vehicles are already booked in to take advantage of the parking, from Aston Martin DB5s to Triton Norton race bikes.

Those holding tickets for the one day event will also be given access to the gardens surrounding the castle, as well as the castle itself, completely free of charge.
