Made In Tennessee and The Rolling Stones Story heading to New Theatre Royal, Lincoln
The home of country music, Nashville, comes to the doorstep in a new touring production, Made In Tennessee.
It comes to the New Theatre Royal, Lincoln, on Saturday (January 14).
With a band made up of some of the UK’s finest country musicians, the Made In Tennessee show takes the audience through the decades of the nation’s fastest growing music genre, from country’s origin in the southern states of America to modern day country now heard around the world.
It includes classics tracks from Johnny, June, Dolly, and Hank, legends like Garth Brooks and Carrie Underwood, and modern country superstars such as Kacey Musgraves and Chris Stapleton.
On Friday, January 20, The Rolling Stones Story is told, giving the chance to relive some of the band’s greatest hits.
It features Mick Jagger lookalike Paul Ashworth as the band’s frontman.
The Rolling Stones have dominated the music scene since the 1960s, when they rivalled The Beatles, and are known for their live performances, which they are still doing today.
The show includes many of the bands hits, such as Satisfaction, Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Not Fade Away, Honky Tonk Woman, Brown Sugar, and Start Me Up.
