Jake Bugg to play hometown gig at Nottingham's Rock City
Following the release of his fifth studio album, singer-songwriter Jake Bugg is hitting the road on a UK tour. It includes a hometown gig at Nottingham’s Rock City on Wednesday.
He will play tracks from his latest album, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning, as well as from his extensive back catalogue.
The album is the first he has released through RCA Records, and he says it was “the most fun he’s ever had making a record.”
It features the singles All I Need, produced by multi-award-winning producer Steve Mac, and Kiss Like The Sun.
Jake was born in Nottingham and brought up on the Clifton housing estate. He started playing the guitar at 12.

His self-titled debut album was released in 2012, followed by Shangri La (2013) On My One (2016) and Hearts That Strain (2017).
His hits include Lightning Bolt and Two Fingers.
Jake and his band played nine sold-out UK dates before the first covid lockdown erupted, which followed his November 2019 tour performing at venues including The Roundhouse in London and a hometown show at Rock City.
