Irish country star Shawn Cuddy to perform in Barrowby near Grantham

A celebrated Irish country singer with a career spanning five decades will return to the Grantham area next month.

Singer/songwriter Shawn Cuddy will take to the stage at the Barrowby Memorial Hall on Good Friday, April 7, and tickets are on sale now.

Shawn, along with his band, is known to be one of the hardest working entertainers on the circuit and is no stranger to Grantham, having performed in the town before.

With 10 albums and numerous awards under his belt, he is a seasoned performer and has toured around the world.

His early years saw him support Johnny Cash and tour with musical duo Foster and Allen.

Shawn, who hails from Camross in County Laois, was joined by two of his sisters early on in his show business career, before forming his own band and going solo.

He never looked back and over the years has earned himself a sizeable following of fans.

Not only does he bring music, but plenty of laughs.

The show at Barrowby Memorial Hall, in High Road, Barrowby, starts at 7.30pm, with doors open from 6.30pm.

Concert-goers are welcome to take along their own refreshments as no bar is available.
